Two points worth stating clearly, because listings routinely garble them. The community is called Eagle Tree and is governed by its own property owners' association, legally separate from the golf club — county and MLS records still carry the original Ritz-Carlton subdivision names. And the property sits adjacent to The Bear's Club, Jack Nicklaus's own private club at 250 Bears Club Drive, but the two are entirely separate and unaffiliated communities.
History and Ownership
The course opened in 2002 as The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter — the first course Jack Nicklaus designed for Ritz-Carlton — with the clubhouse and spa following in late 2003. Ritz-Carlton Development Corporation built the residential neighborhoods over the next several years.
The Trump Organization acquired the property in December 2012 and renamed it Trump National Golf Club Jupiter. The prior name persists in the paper trail: MLS subdivision codes still read "Ritz Carlton Golf Club & Spa Pod B" and "Villas at Eagle Tree Condo," and some listing portals still file the neighborhood under a Ritz-Carlton label. Expect that inconsistency when searching.
Homes in Eagle Tree
The community holds 82 homes across three named neighborhoods.
- The Estates — The largest product, with homes running up to six bedrooms and four-car garages, generally on the widest lots with course or lake frontage.
- The Residences — Thirty-four homes, most with four or five bedrooms, ranging from roughly 3,600 to 4,500 square feet.
- The Villas — Seventeen units with two to four bedrooms, from about 2,100 to 2,950 square feet, appealing to seasonal owners who want less house to maintain.
Residential streets are Eagle Tree Terrace, Bald Eagle Drive, Red Hawk Drive, White Pelican Way and Royal Tern Court. Architecture across all three neighborhoods is Mediterranean-influenced — barrel-tile roofs, arched entries, concrete construction — with private pools, summer kitchens, covered lanais and mature tropical landscaping. Interiors as built ran to formal dining rooms, dual primary suites in the larger plans, marble and stone flooring and gourmet kitchens. Because the homes are now twenty years old, the degree of renovation varies considerably from house to house, which matters more here than floor plan in a community this small.
The community is gated with 24-hour security. One correction worth making: fractional and time-share residential ownership are not available here. Every home at Eagle Tree was built and sold as whole ownership. The "villas" the club itself markets are overnight accommodations for members and guests, not a deeded ownership product, and Jupiter was never part of the Ritz-Carlton fractional club portfolio.
The Golf Course
The course is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design that opened in 2002, playing 18 holes to a par of 72 and stretching to 7,531 yards from the back tees, with a course rating of 74.7. Golf Digest ranks it 27th in Florida for 2025–26.
The signature hole is the 11th, a par 3 playing 168 yards from the championship tee to an island green — the shot that appears in most photography of the property. Water, native preserve and Nicklaus's characteristic bunkering carry through the rest of the routing across the 285-acre site.
In December 2025 the club hosted the inaugural Optum Golf Channel Games, a primetime team event broadcast on Golf Channel and USA Network with Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy as opposing captains. Scheffler's side won by a single inch — the most public moment in the property's history and a useful measure of where the course sits in the professional game.
The Clubhouse and Amenities
The 68,000-square-foot clubhouse anchors the property. Its centerpiece is a 15,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style spa with ten treatment rooms including a couples' suite, a full-service hair and nail salon, separate men's and women's Jacuzzis, steam rooms, saunas and relaxation lounges.
The fitness center includes a motion studio with a class schedule. A resort-style pool complex offers private cabanas. Tennis is played on Har-Tru courts, with weekly cardio clinics running October through May and private instruction available year-round. The clubhouse also holds the Crystal Ballroom for events and a True Spec Golf club-fitting lab.
Dining runs across several venues: The Dining Room, the Members' Lounge, a private dining room, the Men's Grille, Nineteen, and the poolside Oasis Bar & Grill.
Schools Near Trump National Golf Club Jupiter
Public Schools
This address is served by the School District of Palm Beach County, and the zoning is not what most listings for the community claim. Jupiter uses a paired elementary structure: Lighthouse Elementary School covers PreK through second grade at 4750 Dakota Drive, and students then move to Beacon Cove Intermediate School for grades three through five at 150 School House Road. The zoned middle school is Independence Middle School at 4001 Greenway Drive, and the zoned high school is William T. Dwyer High School at 13601 N. Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens.
Two corrections to what is commonly published for this community: the elementary assignment is not Limestone Creek, which serves a separate zone roughly four miles northwest, and the high school is not Jupiter Community High. In this part of north county, Independence Middle feeds Dwyer while Jupiter Middle School of Technology feeds Jupiter Community High — pairing Independence with Jupiter High, as several sources do, is not a valid combination for any address. Verify your specific address with the district's Find My School locator before relying on it.
Dwyer is one of a small number of Palm Beach County high schools offering both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the Cambridge AICE Diploma, alongside an Academy of Finance affiliated with the National Academy Foundation, an early childhood teacher education academy, and in-house construction and culinary academies. Independence Middle runs pre-medical sciences honors, pre-law, pre-business and information technology, pre-teacher education and SciQuest academies. Beacon Cove is consistently among the highest-rated elementary schools in the county.

- Jupiter Christian School — Founded 1963, PK–12, roughly 800 students, 700 S. Delaware Boulevard, Jupiter. The closest PK–12 independent school, ACSI accredited, recently opened a 34-classroom building with four science labs and has announced a second campus near I-95 and Indiantown Road targeted for 2028–29.
- All Saints Catholic School — Founded 2003, PK–8, roughly 466 students, 1759 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter. The closest Catholic parish school, founded jointly by six parishes of the Diocese of Palm Beach, with VR and collaborative-media labs.
- The Weiss School — Founded 1989, junior pre-kindergarten through grade nine, roughly 384 students, 4176 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens. The only independent school in South Florida dedicated exclusively to gifted students, with a NASA-approved student CubeSat program. Note that its grade span now extends through ninth grade; many directories still list PK–8.
- St. Mark's Episcopal School — Founded 1979, age two through grade eight, roughly 466 students, 3395 Burns Road, Palm Beach Gardens. An eleven-acre FCIS-accredited campus welcoming students of all faiths.

A 54-acre campus with Cambridge Scholars, a Free Enterprise Institute, and aviation and artificial intelligence programs. Formerly Oxbridge Academy of the Palm Beaches, and recently expanded from grades 9–12 to 6–12.
Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach is the diocese's Catholic high school for the county and an IB World School. Admissions timelines at these schools generally run a year ahead of enrollment.
Location and Commute
Sitting at Donald Ross Road and Alternate A1A puts this community about as close to I-95 as any address in northern Palm Beach County: Exit 83 at Donald Ross Road is immediately west, at the Jupiter–Palm Beach Gardens line. Exit 87 at Indiantown Road serves northern Jupiter.
Jupiter's beaches are roughly ten minutes east. The Gardens Mall, Downtown Palm Beach Gardens and Legacy Place are about ten to fifteen minutes south along PGA Boulevard, and Alton Town Center sits on Donald Ross Road itself, minutes west. Harbourside Place on the Intracoastal in downtown Jupiter — with the Wyndham Grand hotel, a waterfront amphitheater, a marina and restaurants including Ruth's Chris and The Woods Jupiter — is about fifteen minutes northeast.
The nearest commercial airport is President Donald J. Trump International Airport (code DJT, formerly Palm Beach International and PBI) in West Palm Beach, roughly twenty-five to thirty minutes south. North Palm Beach County General Aviation Airport handles private aircraft about fifteen minutes west. There is no Brightline station in Jupiter; the nearest is West Palm Beach.
Jupiter Medical Center at 1210 S. Old Dixie Highway is about ten minutes north — an independent not-for-profit consistently rated among the top hospitals in Palm Beach County. It broke ground in June 2026 on a second campus in Palm Beach Gardens, a 53,000-square-foot neighborhood hospital with 29 beds and 24-hour emergency services opening in early 2028. Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center on Burns Road is the other nearby option.
Recreation Nearby
Jupiter's coastline is the area's defining amenity. Carlin Park covers 109 acres with 3,000 feet of guarded beach, tennis, pickleball and the Seabreeze Amphitheater; Jupiter Beach Park has 1,700 feet of guarded beach and jetty fishing open around the clock; and DuBois Park has a lifeguarded snorkeling lagoon. A two-and-a-half-mile stretch of Jupiter beach between dune crossovers 26 and 57 permits dogs off-leash from sunrise to sunset with free parking — one of very few off-leash beaches in South Florida.
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum, first lit in 1860 and standing 153 feet above sea level, is open for climbs Tuesday through Sunday. Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Abacoa, a few minutes west, is the only spring training facility in Florida shared by two Major League clubs — the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins — and completed a roughly $108 million renovation for the 2026 season.
Golf beyond the club is unusually dense here. PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens has five courses, including the Champion Course and its Bear Trap stretch, which hosts the PGA Tour's Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. Private clubs in the immediate area include The Bear's Club next door, Admirals Cove, Jonathan's Landing, The Loxahatchee Club, Jupiter Hills Club, Old Palm, BallenIsles, Frenchman's Creek and Mirasol. Abacoa Golf Club is the closest public course.
